The Best FREE Antivirus

The best utilities for clearing an already infected computer are MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, SuperAntiSpyware, and Kaspersky Rescue Disk.  Use the first two, then the Kaspersky Rescue Disk if necessary. 

AVG and Ad-Aware free antivirus products appear to be the front-runners, and Avast is certainly a very capable choice as well.
